My New Kitchen a/k/a My Reason for Business Hiatus


In a true whirlwind of events, my family sold our house right after the New Year. The months between then and now have been a time of packing, moving, unpacking and trying to settle into our new abode.

My once spacious kitchen has been replaced with a much smaller kitchen, and while bigger than Barbie's kitchen you see above, honestly, not by much!  So, I've had to put a halt to my Friday lunch business. I sincerely appreciate all the comments I've received over the past several months. Thank you for all the sweet words of encouragement, and, as much as I miss cooking and preparing food (one of my true passions), it just is not possible in my current location.

So, while Jen's Lunchbox is not actually able to do Friday lunchboxes, I'm still available for party or event catering and baking items. I've been able to do a housewarming party and several birthday parties along with an upcoming wedding. Please remember Jen's Lunchbox & Bakery items when planning your next event or gathering!

Thanks again for all the words of encouragement! I'm not totally giving up on the Lunchbox Business, but it looks like the pause button remains in place for Friday lunches.

Pressing Pause


Friday lunches are going to be taking a bit of a break for a while... I appreciate your business over the past several months, and I feel truly honored to have been able to prepare meals and sweets for you. My family and I are in a bit of a transition period that requires more of my focus and time these days. 

 I will STILL BE taking baked good orders and catering orders with 48 hours notice, but just no Friday lunches for a bit. 

 Again, thank you so very much for your business and believing in me. It's not STOP, just pause. :-)

I am taking this time to spend with family and have to work at my "other" job on the 4th.

Time Off


Jen's Lunchbox will be closed for the next two Fridays. No lunch orders for October 19 and 26. I'm just taking some time off for a family vacation and to work on a few new recipes. The feedback from the survey was wonderful, and I'm using that information to revamp some recipes and try a few new ones.
